Farei On

FaceBook is always asking us what's on our mind, "Shut up Tarmy" is usually what my brain says at that point. I typically hear it in Katerina's voice. IYKYK She occasionally says this to me in real life too.

I also occasionally write essays, Farei Infrequently, in an educational and sometimes humorous attempt to get some of that off my chest. It helps a little.

I get comments all the time that range from supportive to down right rude and ignorant. It goes with the territory, dog and horse drama are a thing, a rampant, dark, spiteful, mean, thing.

Usually perpetuated by small people on the internet who don't feel good about anything else in their lives and become keyboard warriors on line. It's their outlet too, in a small way, it provides them some measure of comfort and confidence to prove they are better than someone else.

There is a fine line between trying to provide education and not participating in the small minded meanness, and it isn't easy by any means, we all get caught up in it. Retaliation. Defense. Anger.

And also apathy. It won't make a difference anyway.

I tell you it does make a difference. Keep speaking out, keep trying, keep sharing, keep doing what you know is right.

Don't give up.
