Reina- 2.5yo intact female Turkish Shepherd

Reina is what I call a slow thinker.

She isn't dumb, just deliberate. No rash decisions from this girl.

I stepped out the door to investigate a ruckus and saw my head rooster whooping the snot out of a youngster. Being generally even keeled I assumed it was deserved.

Reina was standing almost on top of them, obviously concerned with what was an unusual occurrence.

I assured her that it was fine and that roosters do rooster things. She moved a few steps away and I went back in to spy and see what she did next.

Standing there she looked from the roosters to the house and then back at the roosters. I could see the wheels turning. They continued fighting.

Making her decision she quickly walked through them. 🤣 Quite effectively sending the younger scooting under the gate and the older one just sidestepped to avoid the dog.

Having returned to her normal spot she laid down with a last glance at the house.

I chuckled softly and let it be. I'll take the compromise.
